This manga is pretty good. Its a retelling of a rebellion started by William Tell. Its VERY loosely based on this event in history but a fun read regardless.

I thought id try a review ive never tried before so this is just my opinion.i read the manga by mitsuhisa kuji called wolfsmund from 2009-16 its set in Switzerland during the rebellion against the habsburgs and inckudes such famous characters as the real habsburgs frederick the handsome and his brother leopold 1 as well as the fictional aging William tell and his son walter.its set in the backdrop of the civil war between Frederick and louis 4 the bavarian while his brother leopold tries to suppress the swiss rebels it all leads up to the climatic swiss victory at the battle of morgarten.the book features mature themes torture gore nudity and is not for kids.Historically its not very accurate first by the time of the battle of morgarten the swiss had already broken free second the habsburgs are not treated like humans but portrayed as psychotic demons who live only to torture and break the weak third most real people involved in the battle have been replaced by fictional characters fourth the dates and events are wrong.it did have things accurate as well the combat and siege warfare is detailed and the areas and cities are fairly accurate the swiss pike and habsburg knights tactics are accurate and costume design is fairly accurate.outside of the odvious angel swiss demon habsburg portrayal i enjoyed the comic the maker is known for violence the art is nice and the premise is interesting the early chapters follow the rebels trying to sneak though the fictional castle pass wolfsmund ruled by the evil genius wolfram who in each chapter always outsmarts and murders the heroes.the heroes finally siege and kill him leading to the final showdown with leopolds army.id recommend it to history fans as long as you can understand how fictional harsh and violent it is .it can be read online free
Mes derniers achats manga possèdent tous un contexte historique intéressants. Stravaganza est génial :3
