I was setting up a meal plan with one of the newest ladies to join my accountability group yesterday and I shared a tip with her that I wanted to pass on!
Not only are soups kind of perfect for this time of the year and easy-peezy to prep a BIG batch all at once, BUT they are also a great way to get some extra servings of veggies in without necessarily FEELING like you are eating a ton! And for people like Travis and I who can be picky with our veggies, somehow having different ones in a soup makes us MUCH more likely to actually eat them!

This year has been the craziest, most stressful year I’ve had in a while. There has been very few times where there wasn’t stress related issues going on. I have grown more this year than I ever thought imaginable. Some of the year was extremely heavy but there was also so many epiphanies and plenty of mental growth. I feel a bit hesitant to post on here at times because weightloss is SOOOO MUCH more than losing weight. You have to completely change your mindset and if you struggle mentally it will be that much harder. We all know the “secret” to losing weight. You consume fewer calories and move your body more. You can go on Pinterest and google to find plenty of weightloss meal plans, exercise routines, keys to staying on track etc. I have talked myself til I’m blue in the face about how to lose weight and get results. We get ready and excited to start this journey, then the anxiety sets in when we have to put in the work and we easily give up. I know how hard it can be but once you commit/stay committed you will succeed. This is where a healthy mind comes into play. I think EVERYONE can benefit from going to therapy. A safe place to talk about your struggles, past traumas, current stressors, etc is amazing. They help us deal with these thoughts and situations and give great advice on strategies to overcome these things. There are so many resources out there to get you the help you need, with or without insurance.
I want us all to succeed at whatever it is we’re trying to achieve. I am rooting for each and every one of you and am proud you are here. You’re here earching for ways to better yourself by seeking out people who have done it, and trying to use them to motivate you.
I really love you guys and am grateful to have so many people rooting me on!!! Let’s spread the word that we are all strong and worthy of success!!! I
