Boulder shoulders 💪🏻 . I switched to a barbell for my press yesterday and saved the DB for some single presses. . 1️⃣Barbell shoulder press 4 ✖️ 10, 10, 8, 6 (increasing weight) the bar alone is 15 lbs . 2️⃣Side Lateral Raise 3✖️10-12 using 15 lbs . 3️⃣Seated single DB press Was pretty fatigued at this point 😤 using that same 15 DB for 3 ✖️12 . 3/5 exercises shown as I did some rear delt exercises to hit all 3 heads 👌🏻 . Shoulders are my top priority this season!

Back at it with the videos 😊💪🏻 I really missed recording my workouts and wanted to post what I did today! Heres 3/6 exercise that i did! 1️⃣ Single arm lat pulldown: I’m using a thumbless grip to take away tension from my bicep in order to really work the lats. . 2️⃣Straight arm lat pull down: using a rope here and im seated so that I’m forced to only use my upper body to pull the weight. . 3️⃣Chest-supported single arm dumbbell row: I’m going pretty light here in order to keep my form on point and pull back more instead of up. . Who else loves to train upper body? 🙋🏼‍♀️ Believe it or not, i actually prefer to train upper more than lower lol! 🤷‍♀️

These last couple weeks have been filled with testimonials. My M2M tribe completed their 8 weeks together and results are rolling in. • I love when I get it meet new friends AND it warms my heart when I get to reconnect with old friends. Like childhood friends like this chick. Now we are mamas and coincidentally have second daughters with the same name 💞. And now crushing goals together! 👇🏻 • “I was just shy of 12 weeks postpartum when I started the Macros to Muscles program. I wasn’t sure how I was going to get into a better position as far as my health while trying to juggle two babies that are 17 months apart. I had not time, no routine, and no energy. I started the program two days before returning to my full time job and I was anxious. I didn’t know how I was going to plan meals out and fit in my work outs while my husband worked a rotating day/night schedule. I quickly realized that I didn’t have to worry. The support I received in the program was nothing short of amazing. If I wasn’t sure about something I could either ask the group or April was right there to guide me. I’m a nursing momma and I was extremely concerned with dieting and having it effect my supply. I reached out to April to make sure this program would fit my lifestyle and ironically it became my lifestyle. I started to see a difference in no time. There wasn’t much planning needed as most of the meals were easy to plan for a family, even a toddler. I have had so many issues with my weight for years now and no matter what diet I tried it just never worked or lasted. I’ve been consistent with my nutrition and it paid off. Even though the workouts were sporadic, I was still conscientious about what I was eating and I sincerely think that made the difference. I lost just shy of 10 inches total and I lost 14lbs. I am beyond proud of myself and my tribe. We all stuck together and gained confidence in ourselves because of this group. I have been training with Peter twice a week at the Vision Personal Training studio in Camberwell for the last 6 months while the Caulfield studio was being finalised. I’ve attended a few gyms in my time and have even tried several weight loss programs in an effort to keep fit and healthy. What I like most about Vision Personal Training is that the program looks at both diet and fitness together and not one or the other in isolation. With a few tweaks to my eating habits and a customised program that Peter created and managed, I was able to lose 10kg while significantly increasing muscle mass. I remember Pastor Adeboye said: “fast at least once a week for mental clarity” Honestly this works a whole lot. I am a very “evidence based kind of person” So I decided to experiment. I fast 2ce a week and I can categorically say it’s more than something wise to consider. Fasting helps me stay mentally and spiritually focused. And I also notice my face is less oily on days that I fast in addition to the benefits represented in the picture above. I used to have menstrual irregularities (prior to my weight loss though) but my period flow ALWAYS on the days I fast... This means something right? . . That being said- It is important to stay hydrated while fasting especially if it’s not solely for a religious cause( and of course depending on your religious beliefs). Unsweetened green tea, coffee or water are great options. Also, do not make it a habit to consume excess calories when breaking the fast.. Sometimes we want to compensate ourselves by overeating when we break, THIS IS a NO NO as the whole essence of the fast would be defeated! 😕 Instead choose healthy, whole and natural foods on the right proportion.
