What does your shopping cart look like?? Here is my haul for the week
The 2 most important parts of my diet and the bulk of my shopping consists of:
1) Meat 🍖 🥩!!! Mostly red meat plus some fresh fish and frozen chicken (for convenience)
2) Vegetables 🌶 🥒!!! Lots of different colors and varieties. Lately I’ve opted for frozen vegetables that are steamable in the microwave. Not only are frozen vegetables convenient, but, although some nutrients are lost during freezing and microwaving, more nutrients are actually retained through both processes. Also, it doesn’t hurt that these frozen vegetables are super easy to make. **It is generally recommended to buy fresh when the veggies you want are in season and frozen when they are not - I’m just lazy and prefer the convenience of frozen

It doesn't take as much work as you may think to see progress.
More often than not, progress is inversely related to the number of stressors you have in life.
More stress (regardless of whether it's physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual) necessitate more recovery.
Unfortunately our brains haven't caught up to our technology and have trouble distinguishing bankruptcy, breakups, and getting brake-checked in traffic from real physical danger.
Physical adaptation can be slowed down when there are chronic nagging injuries, depression, unresolved emotional issues, etc.
This is why when looking at exercise, movements, and training, it's essential to look at it from a holistic perspective instead of just addressing the trouble areas that apparently refuse to she'd unwanted fat.
With my crazy schedule between classes, a new relationship, work, I understand that I have to balance my stress out and regularly just do <30 minutes training sessions that help me stay focused on my priorities while getting some good muscle cardio gainz.

Fire is often a thing used to describe love. There’s this fantasy that has been told time and time again that if it’s not mad, compassionate, extraordinary love than it’s a waste of time.
Over the years filled with many failed relationships and attempts to find myself I’ve realized one thing. For me, I’m looking for that fire that keeps me warm but doesn’t set me on fire.
Love at first sight? Nah, I want that type of love that is built. That fire that keeps burning because we’re both throwing wood into it. 🔥💙

Workouts like these are hard for me. I’m used to going hard during my training, so going at a kind of easy pace for a decent amount of time is actually a challenge
Here was a Zone 1/ Zone 2, steady state aerobic workout
Although you burn tons of calories and ignite your metabolism through high intensity and strength training, you are burning a higher percentage of fat per minute at low intensities. A good, well rounded program will attack both high and low (and moderate) intensities
