“It’s only 25lbs man” - @nodonutshere _ #PTBossTips For Beginners _ The Single arm DB preacher curl is a great exercise for the bicep. Often times what you see in the gym is people speeding through reps and not allowing the muscle to experience the full benefit of the movement. Trust me I’m guilty of it too 🙋🏾‍♂️ _ Although I do believe faster reps have their place during some sets, slowing the tempo down on this exercise forced me to have to use a lighter weight and provided an intense burn directly on the bicep. Slowly easing my way back into things, my wrist was throbbing but can’t afford to miss precious time, I have a dream to chase🔥 - I go back to the doctor Monday afternoon for another x-ray and I’m sure it’s fractured and if that’s the case I’ll be stuck in a cast (which is the worst case scenario) - I’m lucky enough to have supportive friends and family to help me through everything. 8 week summer sprint challenge comes to an end tomorrow I have already taken my last progress pictures for this particular challenge! - I am down 10+ lbs and am a lot leaner (obviously) 😂 Unfortunately I don’t have exact numbers on my loss. I went out of town and the end of the challenge was pretty hectic for me so I didn’t get an opportunity to! -besides a physical transformation I have changed a lot mentally as well! -I have always had an unhealthy relationship with food but these last 8 weeks I have really turned that around! this challenge was very hard for me. I can easily say I put more effort into this challenge than I have anything in my entire life probably even more than the Marine Corps. This was a battle for my life. There were times I felt like I was descending to the depths of Hell to conquer demons. no matter what the outcome is in this challenge and who gets the grand prize , I will walk away with my head held up high because I know in my heart that no one outworked me. My legs look a bit stronger. My tush slightly rounder. But I can HARDLY tell... . The true difference between the three images in the first photo is that between the far left and the far right, I lost about 5 pounds. . Like I said: I can’t really tell though. 🤷🏼‍♀️ [but the scales told me otherwise, so I believe them]. . So yeah. In a month, you can make some decent progress - but it might not be visible to you. 👀 . ➡️➡️But then I went and put my very first #transphormation picture next to my most recent one. The final day of the challenge and what a great ride it's been... Here's my before and after. Before being the top row and after the bottom. Top I'm roughly 185 lbs and lower I'm 175 lbs. Lost 10 lbs during the 8 week challenge, but retained all the strength and muscle even gaining some muscle. My back I believe to be the most improved muscle group! This challenge was the greatest thing I could've asked for. It gave me something to strive to and get out of my own way..
