🧠 Your brain is the most powerful computer on the planet. The problem is, we let our computers control us, rather than the other way around.
Let me show you how to reprogram your brain - both from a physiological and psychological perspective in my what/how/why 3 hour workshop on happiness. ☀️

literally meaning '#vermillion
game' is a #bengali #hindu #tradition
where women smear each other with #sindur
the last day of the #Durga_Puja
. On the day of the Vijayadashami after the conclusion of the ritual #worship
Bengali Hindu women apply sindur on the forehead and feet of the #goddess
and offer #sweets
to her. Then they put sindur on each other's faces and offer sweets to each other. The exact date and place of origin of the tradition is not known. According to one #theory
the tradition #originated
ago in the Durga Pujas of the #zamindarhouse
to usher #bonhomie
among the #housewives
. According to a second theory, the tradition of Sindur Khela is as old as Durga Puja itself, around #400_years
.The ritual is enjoyed just like a game and hence the name Sindur Khela. Sindur Khela is regarded as one of the most important rituals of Vijayadashami.
Yes, he/she is four-footed, but the essence is the same: Powerful push-off at the rear, quick, circular recovery foot with forward drive, foot high under haunches for powerfully articulated arc down to long-lever touch-down under CoM, strong paw-back of the front foot for maximum force moment (with no wasted over-reaching) and greatest impulse in direction of travel. S-shaped whip and conduction of forces articulated through body with the least interfering tension to points of necessary application.
High power both in terms of generation and efficiency of output.
With regards the relationship between force and power and form in sprinting, it's much like a car in terms of the qualities of work done (torque, levered force) and it's rate of being done (a power). The car reaches peak power at high rpm; at lower rpm, torque dominates power until a point (5252rpm) where irrespective of the engine performance and the car's gearing, power dominates force on plots of torque and power vs rpm. The two (torque and power) are related by rpm: T x rpm (a rate measure) x constant = Power.
P=Fv. If F and v are maximal, so is P. Or, said the other way around, greatest P equals greatest product of F and v. Only, there is a peak combination of F and v; if F is too high for high v = lower power. Conversely, if v is too high for high force, then low power.
In sprinting, in terms of force and power, it's only the levered force that actually moves you, but the rate at which it is repeated of course is intimately related - more impulsive forces per second is better than less when the total is greater from the more. So the contributors are a) ground contact force in paw-back and push off b) It's rate of application c) The rate of recovery to next contact.
In terms of the connection between the energetics in terms of power and force, and technique in conceptual terms;
