You can do 1,000+ crunches a day but if you’re eating heavy, processed foods, animal products ridden with saturated fat..chances are you won’t be seeing much fat loss or muscle gain. 💯 So, my mantra? 👉🏼 Focus on whole, plant based foods to help you achieve your GAINZ. Focus on adding in all the plant based deliciousness you can thrive off of versus thinking about what you “can’t” eat. 🌿

What’s in my bowl? 🤔 Spinach-romaine-cilantro salad base with red onion, tomatoes, blueberries, broccoli sprouts (#superfoods ) in a lemon-olive oil-Apple cider vinegar dressing with a side of chili-maple brusslesprouts (avocado oil, chili pepper, pink salt + pepper: baked @ 375 for 20 min) and a side of @alexiafoods rosemary potato French fries. How to Protect Nature in 2018:
-Buy organically grown produce 🌿
-Buy produce from the farmers market, consult with your farmer on the grow process 👨🏼🌾👨🏽🌾👩🏽🌾👩🏼🌾
-Grow your own food 🌱
-Teach your children to appreciate nature by making it a big part of their upbringing (taking them on walks, to the beach, to animal sanctuaries, to farms) 🍊
-Involve your children in your home garden 💚
-Support local and ethical beekeepers and bee sanctuaries 🐝
-Skip plastic and go for glass or reusable products when possible 🥄
-Eliminate animal products from your diet/lifestyle 🥦

We only have one body, and with every single moment we have a choice to care for it by moving it, loving it, nourishing it with proper eats that will allow our bodies to love us back. Gimme all the pasta. 🙋🏼♀️ Whipped up some chickpea pasta by @eatbanza with sautéed mushrooms, baby peppers, onions, spinach and arugula (because greens are liiiife) topped it off with @carlaleesnutburgers coconut-cashew bites in a delicious tomato sauce I spiced up with some cayenne pepper, basil, thyme, and pink salt and pepper. Always gotta level up jarred sauces with my own lil’ flavor. This meal was simple, delicious and nutritious..oh, and cruelty-free. 🤗 Happy Saturday, babies! Sunday night dinner feels. 😍
Cashew-Ricotta Stuffed Shells are the ultimate comfort, guilt-free and cruelty-free indulgence! 😋
🌿2 cups raw cashews, soaked at least 2 hours, (overnight is best)
🌿2 garlic cloves
🌿2 tbsp lemon juice
🌿1/4 cup of almond or hemp milk
🌿1 tbsp. Maple syrup
🌿1/2 tbsp dried basil
🌿1 tsp. Onion powder
🌿 tsp. Black pepper
🌿1/2 tsp. Salt
🌿sprinkle of crushed red pepper
🌿1 tsp oregano 🍝Instructions:
1. Add all ingredients to food processor
2. Process until smooth. If it is too dry, add a little more milk. Takes about 3-5 minutes to fully process.
3. Put in fridge to cool
Stuffed Shells, Ingredients: ▪️Jumbo Shells (about 25, one bag)
▪️2 (25oz.) jar marinara sauce (can use one if you don’t like a lot of sauce)
▪️1/2 cup chopped broccoli (chop tiny)
1. Preheat oven to 375. Boil the shells until cooked (mine took about 12 min.) In a separate pot, boil broccoli until soft.
2. Strain the shells and rinse with cold water so they don’t stick. Mix the broccoli into the ricotta.
3. Pour sauce into the 9X13 pan (just to cover the bottom) Fill the shells with the ricotta broccoli mix and place in pan. Pour remainder of sauce onto stuffed shells.
4. Put the shells into the oven for 25 minutes and ENJOY! 🤗 #TheCleanEatingChick .
Over the weekend, my love and I visited @LavenderByTheBay , a beautiful lavender farm out on the tip of Long Island. ✨ We got this fresh bunch of lavender, along with some other goodies. 💜 Up until now, I’ve only diffused or cooked with lavender oil but this fresh bunch of lavender is game changing. 👊🏼 The aroma is intoxicating, and instantly soothing to my soul so I thought I’d share just some of the many benefits #lavender has to offer: 💜Reduce anxiety and emotional stress.
