Have you prepared your body for a transformation? or are you prioritising short term change over health?
Due to the lifestyle we lead and what we are surrounded by with social media, we are programmed to want instant gratification and fast results, this is maybe due to having anything we want at a click of a button or a tap away on our phones.
In this game you may see a lot of short term transformations over the course of 8-12 weeks, and this is great but please note are you ready for that yet? would you drive a car with flat tires, broken windows and no oil and fuel. No there are steps to take to prepare this for the ride ahead.
This is no different with the body, please note you can get lean in a few short months, but to what cost to your health. In order to gage a short term change, the body must be forced in to relatively adverse conditions, we must be pushed hard to promote immediate change.
Now the majority of people fight daily stress with work, home life and also internally through poor gut function, fatigue etc. Meaning your body is sympathetic dominant, the side of the nervous system which promotes stress.
Having this in mind, do we believe it would be a good idea to add another fire to the numerous fires your body is currently fighting, or would it be better to prepare your body to then change by focussing on improving health markers, lowering stress and inflammation.
I have had a number of people, both male and female speak to me who have had their health damaged by taking short term measures or being educated poorly by previous trainers.

-Increase Aerobic output - Put plans in place to lower stress factors - Monitor health markers daily
- Slowly increase intensity, but monitor how you respond to this
Overall, be patient, be consistent and be smart.
