Shoulder Sunday? 😎💪🏽 • Woke up feeling not too hot, so got a little extra sleep. Then went and got a preworkout doughnut from @districtdonuts 🤤 and smashed shoulders with @harleywiltz 💪🏽 I started having a little bit of pain in my bad shoulder during the workout, but thankfully he pushed me through. I definitely needed it and felt so good once we finished. That’s one of the reasons why I like working out with another person, because they can push me if I feel like giving up. • Also, worked on some posing before our post-workout cardio 💃🏽 had @shakira playing in the background trying to bring out my inner @jazzyfresh_ifbbpro sass🤣💃🏽🔥 also, I know y’all hear @harleywiltz point out my hammies... This is the week I'm going to make myself get back into my rhythm. No more letting life's obstacles throw me off my game, no more letting stress hold me back but instead use it to propel me forward, no more letting me hate how I look or feel about myself, no more negative but more positive, and lastly no more excuses. Shoulder/traps day. Highlighted some of the heavy (heavy to me) lifts. . . I do like putting up some of the heavier things but that is actually a small percentage of the training. I believe heavy training is important, but the reality is most of the muscle building/conditioning comes from the moderate weight on more of a controlled form.
