Reminiscing on one of the most magical weekends ever. I was 21 and had just left my job and fancy ocean front apartment behind - (this seems to be a pattern in my life, I like new beginnings.) & I started building out a client list, my only requirements were that they had fun projects and were located in the cities I wanted to travel too.
was on my list and I had booked three clients the week I decided I wanted to go. I was looking at places to stay and wanted to find the best hotel in the city - it was a part of the experience for me. That's when I found the @fairmontsanfrancisco #presidentialsuite
online, $15k a night & 7,500 sq ft of beautiful architecture & rich history. This suite was one that every #President
had stayed in, where the #UnitedNations
was first formed, & it was #MarilynMonroe
& JFK's rumored getaway. The second story of the library has a secret door (pictured) that leads out a secret exit, that was supposed to have been her "in" and "out" of the suite.
Needless to stay I had my heart set on it! I couldn't afford the $15k Presidental Suite but I was in love with the hotel/ history, so I booked a smaller suite (around $1k a night) and upon check in the front desk manager told me they were "oversold" someone accidentally mixed up my reservation and the only suite available was the Presenditial, they asked if I would be "okay" with the complementary upgrade. #Manifesting
at it's finest 😉
The penthouse came with a full staff, chefs, butlers, and even a massage therapist. That weekend I was catching up with my long lost aunt who lived in the Tenderloin & my cousins whom I had never met, let's just say it was good first impression 😉lol. Such fun memories. 21 was my favorite year!
