This is what 12° per side (24° inclusive) looks like with 0.006" behind the shoulder of that bevel looks like. The primary cutting edge IS a microbevel 🤣
At 0.015" (which some consider a "slicer") a 12° per side bevel would be over .125" (1/8) in width from shoulder to apex!

Burr release on S125v at 63rc after a two passes on a 600 grit Vitrified Bonded CBN stone.
Very excited about CPM S125v so far.
Will be painful to get a good finish.
Very crisp edge, lots of aggression. The edge is superior to s110v. It doesn't fight you as much.
Definitely less stable then Nitrogen steels.
I'll only sell s125v to experienced knife users after interviewing to see if they can handle it.
