Are you a label commitment-phobe? Do you avoid labelling things for fear you’ll change your mind?
Whilst it’s important to be specific when labelling, it’s also ok to generalise. For this pantry, we used the @kmartaus
Push Close container to store things such as crackers and cereal.
But because the owners didn’t want to commit to one type of cereal for the rest of their lives, we stayed general; simply labelling these canisters as “cereal”.
The same goes for things like “snacks” + “sweets”.
Sometimes I also leave a few canisters unlabelled to have a few spares on hand when I’ve got an open packet I need stored.
