I always try to post pretty pictures of me at my best. But this is the real deal. This is what ( almost 38) looks like 😐 blank look, messy house ( and messy hair) . I always thought I would at some point “crack the code” have it all figured out. But here I am, definitely not perfect but definitely trying my hardest. I’ve been striving for perfection for as long as I can remember. I realize now that perfect is total bullshit! I think the more important thing is , I’ve made it this far, I’m somewhat thriving, I have a healthy relationship & I make a living being myself. So..... not a complete bust 😂#adulting#lifeskills#welladjusted#fakeittillumakeit#true#honesty#grownup

Why you should focus on intentions instead of resolutions this year (and how to do it)
Your first impulse to make 2019 a better year may be to draw up grand plans of the brand-new person you’re going to be: Ten kilos lighter, an hour of yoga every morning, and meditating everyday. .
If you’re like me, you’ve piled it on even more: Volunteer twice a week! Learn a new language! Make all your skin-care products from scratch! (Seriously, all of this has been on my list. And it’s still there…) .
Resolutions are goals. They are destinations you aspire to reach.
Often, we make resolutions/goals that are hard to achieve, rather unattainable at times, which puts us in a vicious circle of self loathing and resentment for not achieving those goals, and making even harder ones next time. .
And it goes on. And on. .
So what are Intentions?
An intention is what you believe in, and train your mind to believe in. It’s in the present, it is the now.
It is all those little habits you adopt & practice every single day, that makes you closer to what you want to achieve (your goals per se)
Are you setting the right intentions for a productive Day? Week? Month?
Or still stuck in making annual Resolutions and Goals & never attaining them?
Were you also grown with a huge question mark whether you are talented enough to try great things in life? And you keep question yourself on every life curve “shell I?.. will I look brave, talented or just stupid?!” The fact that you may look dumb at the beginning scares you away from so many good opportunities you wish to take,but...
Why so many of us so shamed to look weak? We all agree that intelligence takes practise, but when it comes to the real things, we pass out🙅♀️
When I ask my nine years old how he deals l with failure. He round his eyes👀...would you call it a FAILURE?! I call it ”LEARNING 🧠in process”
Today I did two things I haven’t done before.
1. Changed a tyre (with help from someone)
2. Put petrol into a car
It felt rather amazing!
Basic things to most of you I’m sure but it made me capable and cool!
I’ve decided to create a bucket list of grown up lifeskill things to master/
So far I have
1. Tie a tie
2. Put up a tent
3. Fold a king size fitted sheet
4. Do a pull up
5. Make my printer connect to my computer (I’ve had it for 2 years)
6. WOrk out how to use my sewing machine
7. Work out how to get netflix on my big telly without having to ask my 9 year old to do it.
8. Make a will
9. Shear a sheep (the sheep has to have had a bath first)
What other things should I master?
What things have you always wanted to do?
Some people sit back and take their time at life like this is their practice run. We hear of people who have a new perspective on life if they have a near death experience. Personally I believe it’s on us to live our life to the max, whatever that is to you. For me it’s about being the best I can be at the things that matter most to me, helping and inspiring the people I love the most and evolving to be the best version of myself possible. If I can agree with this quote during my last days then I’ll know I got it right. #lifeevolving
This looked good in my head. What are you fascinated by??

How do you approach life? Are you upbeat and vibrant, a little more of a thinker, someone who is cautious? Whatever type of person you are shouldn’t take you away from being adventurous. #hellenkeller came up with this quote and she was blind and deaf. If you’re ever looking for inspiration just learning who Helen Keller was will help you significantly.
Being naive about people is a real issue for people as they navigate the business world. Because you believe in people and genuinely want what’s best for them don’t assume that others are the same. Until someone earns your trust you need to be a little more sceptical in your dealings. This is kind of a fun way to adopt a more hard ass position to avoid people letting you down. Having said this don’t change who you are just be cautious about who gets to see it and when.
This week was quite busy for me, had lots of ups and downs. But the basic funda of "Learning & Growing" still lies their in my heart!
Ps:) Can you describe this shot📷 taken last evening in one word?
