Right now I'm doing my "Big Rocks, Pebbles, And Sand" program (this system of training has been quite popular @Bodybuildingcom
). The hanging-band back squat is today's big rock!
Don't forget, training is only part of the process; recovery is the other part. I train four days a week, but I make sure to eat right and sleep right every day, and I use restoration methods on my "off" days.
Here's what this week looks like:
Sunday: Sun Lamps
Monday: Band-Resisted Push-Ups
Tuesday: Vitamin Drip
Wednesday: Hanging-Band Back Squat
Friday: Thick-Grip Pull-Ups
Saturday: Deficit Deadlifts

2 and a half weeks out from my first amateur comp. Not bad considering I only have 50 percent strength in 1 arm and my spine has 12 years of wrestling on it. All in all I'm happy so far. Bring on the comp!
