I use to be the type of person known for being happy, for being well grounded and strong. However, I reached a point in my life, so early on, where I felt like I was losing touch with who I was. I was no longer thinking about my well being and found comfort in food and found comfort in settling for less than what I deserved. When you find comfort in settling for less, you losing habits of building. As I continued to hate what I saw in the mirror, I woke up one day and said no more. I wasn’t going to settle for less than what I can be. I wasn’t going to settle for less than the blessings I had coming to me. I became the person and still working on the being the person who deserves the blessings God has created for me. It’s something magical that happens when you decide to no longer settle for the best version of yourself. If you truly aren’t growing then you’re dying. I want a long life so let’s grow !! I’m down 37 pounds and up a hella of a lot of confidence!!

I was never a breakfast eater. Instead I drank coffee and a lot of it. Almost 3 years ago, I said I need to change something. I was going to the gym and not seeing the results that I was wanting, tired all the time, always suffered from headaches, felt like I was running on fumes. My diet wasn't poor, but really only ate dinner with my family. I worked so much I hardly had a break to eat during the day. I gave herbalife a shot and in turn, I got a life! I rarely get headaches, I have energy, and the best part... I don't have to clock into a job that drains the life out of me anymore!! I've been everywhere on the scale from 160s to 220s, I know how difficult it is to lose and gain and try to lose again. Boom! Finally after a MONTH of fighting to break through the plateau I finally did it. This week was difficult to keep going because I really didn't want to jump on the scale and see no change. But discipline and help from Jenny kept me on the right track to keep working out and, of course, it paid off.
The lesson here is to just keep putting in the work. And occasionally you might not see the pay off right away but it will come eventually if you keep at it. .
My goal now is to be under 200 lbs by next Friday. I don't care if it's 199.9 lbs I want to be there. I want to be out of the 200's FOREVER. Gonna be a week of hard work but for the first time in a month I'm looking forward to it. Let's do it!
