My faaavorite is walking into the gym determined to kill my legs and not stopping until it’s done. Lifting heavy weight and then finishing off by doing fast reps of these body weight exercises is what ensures that for me. Give it a try!

I meant to post this Monday 🤦🏽♀️ let me tell you this move has been nothing short of exhausting and full of surprises. Trailer mishap one day, our longest drive today was done on essentially NO sleep whatsoever from the past 2 nights but we made it to my brother’s house in Nashville and so glad to be here. So, here I am, finally posting this. It was a quick workout I did in the parents fitness area on base while Dane was out processing before we left Monday. I made do with the time and space I had which was not much of either and wanted to die by the end. ————8️⃣🔁———— 400m treadmill sprint 😫

🧘🏻♀️My first ever yoga class that was all mine, not just subbing for someone, was at a gym in New Jersey. It was an all female gym and my class was small but mighty. It grew over the two years I taught there, as I cut my teeth as a new yoga teacher. I learned to really teach with my own words, not just repeat what my teachers said. I learned what it meant to teach people who weren’t already doing yoga like at the studio. I learned to be humble and fail as often as I succeeded. It was an hour a week but I think back to those times with love and gratitude. 🧘🏻♀️There’s a bit of a stigma to teaching at a gym, like maybe it’s not real yoga or something. When I teach, it’s always real yoga for real people no matter the location. So many people could use a good stretch, a deep breath and maybe find a connection within along the way. 🧘🏻♀️Currently I’ve been teaching at the gym where I work out. The gym has helped me to tap into my own strength and then be able to lead others through a class that compliments the tough, high-intensity workouts. I love guiding people through yoga that may never have found their way onto a mat otherwise. What a great honor. 🔷TOTAL BODY WITH BANDS🔷 Guys. If you don’t have a set of bands yet, do yourself a favor and spend $8-$20 and get a couple. They are super portable and SO versatile. If you anchor them around a pole (like I did in this workout) you can do almost any exercise you would use a cable machine for. 👍🏼
For this workout there are 3 sets of exercises. Do each exercise in each set 10x

2️⃣Sgl leg hinge + lunge row
Repeat 4x thru- 2 RL and 2 LL
1️⃣Sgl arm plank + shoulder press
2️⃣Jump F, dbl hop back
Repeat 4x thru- Alt sides on #2
1️⃣Genie + French press
2️⃣lateral hop, shuffle back
Repeat 4x thru- 2RL and 2LL

Being happy has always been an effort. It doesn’t come easily for me. I have to actively work on it daily, as that is all part of the journey when dealing with mental health.
Happiness takes effort and practice and planning, so here I am.
I’m starting the happiness planner for the next 100 days, to hopefully shift my mindset and help me develop healthy, happy habits.
I spent the last hour filling in the first 20 pages which is all reflection and goal setting, and I am feeling ready.

Os componentes do treinamento intevalado são os seguintes:
duração do esforço, intensidade do esforço, número de repetições, intervalo entre os estímulos e atividades entre os intervalos.
A duração do esforço é inversamente proporcional à sua intensidade. Dessa forma, estímulos mais intensos devem ser aplicados em menores períodos de tempo e vice versa.
Onde pode ser feito? Esteira, bike, transport, remo ou correndo na rua. É só controlar e monitorar a intensidade do treino. .
Como controlar e monitorar? Frequencímetros e escala de percepção subjetiva de esforço "já falei dela aqui antes".
Vale ressaltar que, apesar de sua praticidade, a organização do treinamento pode ser bastante
diferenciada, em função dos objetivos da prescrição das atividades e características individuais de cada praticante.

These were all things “Truths” that I told myself before I got started my newest program. Turns out... none of them were true! .
The real truth after completing my program is that: ➰This program has completely changed me and literally been my favourite program! . ➰I have had amazing results with 4 days/week for just 30-40 minutes a day)! . ➰I have actually become more lean and developed a lot more muscle definition! . ➰I can do more push ups then ever before and I LOVE a challenging myself with them now! #forthewin
