Life is full of uncertainty.
We have to face the fact that we can’t control everything & that’s okay.
Even though we can’t control everything,we do have control of some things like who’s voice has a say in our lives. God or the enemy, you chose.
Everyone has their problems and it’s important not to let ignorance get in the way of being empathetic & sympathetic of others.
I’ve been dealing with a lot of uncertainty and as we know uncertainty can be uncomfortable but it is in the uncomfortable situations that God does the most work in our lives. The greatest opportunities come from the inconvenient things we face. God will use you not because you chose him but because he chose you first. He made you and breathed you into life. Your name is in the palms of his hands and there it will forever be.
Its important to recognize the difference between Gods voice and the enemy’s voice.
God always wants the best for you.
God is for you and never against you
The only way you should fight your battles is with God
The secret is God.
God will give you a sound mind as long as you let him search your heart & mind and let him in.
The enemy fears you because he knows what you are capable of doing in your life and how big your purpose is. He sees you as a threat & is always testing your faith in God.
He only knows negativity
He worries you because he thinks worry is greater than faith which is never the case.
If you are ever questioning who is speaking in your life & who to listen to always look to God for he is greater than anything that lying enemy could ever try to make you believe.
The truth is this :
You are the head and not the tail.
You are a child of God.
You are chosen by the king of kings of the most high.
You are set apart because you have more to do.
You are not forsaken.
You are strong through Jesus Christ.
You are Loved by a king who leaves the 99 for you.
You are more.
You are held by a God who is always with you.
You are who he says you are so listen to him for through him you will find peace and forever be satisfied.
Only God can satisfy the human heart and soul.
God has placed a light in you that no one can take from you or dim.
Gods not done with you
In the night, everything is quiet. The heart and mind has a chance to become loud. Usually many anxieties and fears rise, which makes falling asleep difficult. Not only the stress from the day, but the stresses from years can float to the surface, causing us an even harder time to sleep.
Many women, who have experienced abuse or trauma, suffer from insomnia. Tossing and turning at night and waking up the next day exhausted is a part of their regular routine. It’s quite difficult to fight the good fight the next day with little energy!
If you suffer from this, there are some practical things that may help. Waking up and not being able to see what is around you might be scary. There is no shame in having a little night light in the room!
Aromatherapy is helpful. Lavender or cederwood oil may soothe you. You can also try chamomile tea before bed. Praying before going to bed and having soothing music has also seemed to help some sisters...that like to sleep with some noise. You can even use an app that has different soothing sounds.
And as always, God never sleeps nor slumbers. He is right there with you as you fall asleep. He watches over you during sleep. And, when you wake up, He is still there!
If there are any other things you find helpful when trying to sleep, share them below. Tag someone that might benefit from this post!
Never forget in the light what you learn in the darkness.💋
Trust that God is right now directing your steps and that He’s also stamping His truths on your heart so you can share them with others who are in similar circumstances. You’ve been there before, and you know the way home.✨
Father, help those who are are hurting today so they may see and know Your loving presence in their darkest hours.🖤
“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”
It may be strange, but every time I cross the 17th Street bridge, I think of these verses.
If you stay in the slow lane on the right, the one with more vehicles in it, you actually get across the bridge sooner than the left lane vehicles. .
So often dealing with moms dementia I've tried to take shortcuts and even have prayed for the Lord to get me out of some situations that I think I just can't handle any longer. The blessing is... Patience works in us. The more trials and struggles we have, if we allow it to, the more patience will grow in us.
The next verse is, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
I believe that in these times when we need patience, our prayer should be to ask for WISDOM.
God is all knowing, He loves us and He is in control. So when trials, challenges, temptations, difficulties, etc come, and we ask the Lord to give us wisdom... He will!
He will provide for us a way, His way. .
Just like those who live here KNOW that during heavy traffic, the slow lane gets you to your destination sooner. When we walk in His will, patience will have its perfect work in us.
May God bless each of you 🙏💖🙏
Jericho Wall Shall Fall Flat! (Joshua 6:5)
And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.
Entering the promised land was the dream come true for the Israelite’s. They crossed the Jordan river miraculously led by the presence and power of the ark of God carried by the priests. Immediately after entering their promised land, the first thing they saw was a giant wall staring at them, Yes the giant, imposing Jericho Wall!!! The more they looked at them their minds started measuring the length, height and width of the wall. Every passing day it seemed the wall grew bigger and stronger. Maybe in their minds the wall spoke to them “You can’t cross me, not just now, but never!” Life brings tough times and we overcome them. But some are not normal problems, they grow bigger and more complicated day by day. They become our Jericho wall. That’s how you and me stare at our biggest problem, the more we look they grow big and become more complex. (Joshua 6:2) “But the Lord said to Joshua, “I have given you Jericho, its king, and all its strong warriors.” Maybe today you are facing your biggest challenge in your life. God gives you the promise of Victory to bring down your walls. God has not brought you this far to get stopped by these walls, but to cross them and take your blessing.

There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
