Went to see A Star is Born with @caitlyneckstein
on Saturday. Bradley Cooper should get an Oscar. @ladygaga
was so natural and real, and her talent is humbling, as always. Sam Elliott, @anthonyramosofficial
(really all of the cast), they each gave it all of their talent, and I was laughing, crying, and feeling anger right along with their characters. I was thrilled. Obviously, it has an amazing soundtrack, which I will be listening to constantly.
We went to @johnsonsgarden
to admire the Autumn flora, where I found a phallic cactus, which is ALWAYS funny. Also, pumpkins, and gourds, and I'm so glad my season is here.
Hit up @pho #1
for lunch, ran around town to show Caitlyn the hidden troll, and took my first visit to the Keeper of the Plains(I do things when I want, don't judge my personal time frame), and enjoyed the Delano District. While browsing some records, we came across the vinyl of the 1976 A Star is Born soundtrack. Fun to see how different the two films really are.
Caitlyn, and two makeup experts, taught me the ways of makeup at @sephora
, so now I have eyebrows, and all day lip color. We wrapped it all up with some @churnandburn
which was a revelation. It was a badly needed girls day, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
