. I spent the past week reading this book. I #LOVE
it. Between her first book Baareng and this second one 'To Rrangolo with Love', I was torn.
To Rrangolo with Love is about a good time mostly. #Travelling
! The stories took me back to Cardiff, Kasane, London, Dublin and Budaphest. It took me through the craziest moments of travelling, bunk beds and low budget Ryanair flights. It took me to a youthful me and awakened my love for travelling and sharing such stories. To want to write, it reminded me that #words
In the same light it brought real issues of #abuse
. How women suffer silently in the hands of those they love. How children get to witness the worst of abuse right within their families. It touched on child marriages, the circle of poverty and how most of us had to get an #education
to come out of poverty and had to work hard to ensure we have a better life. It also took me back to why we do #NayangAssociation
and want to see and the #change
we want in our less fortunate communities.
A very refreshing book and I just loved Rrangolo's 'caught with his tshega down' story.
A must get! Well done @kay_mad
