“Least Likely Heroes”
Often when we think of heroes or ministers we choose to view them in a perfect light like they never failed or their life is perfect, we're only human and were flawed, but flawed heroes often do the most good.
1) The Chain: We all come from a long line of sin, pain, emotion and addiction that seems to weigh us down and devalue us as ministers, sometimes we think we have to be perfect Steve Rogers types when some of us honestly feel more like a Peter Quill, flawed, disowned and alone.
2) Surrender: We need to come to a point where we realise that are life is unmanageable and that we can’t take on the enemy alone, that we need to find an escape and seek God to free us from our imprisonment to sin.
3) Come and get your Love: No matter who you are remember 2 things God loves you just the way you are, but too much to leave you that way, and this doesn’t mean you have to be just like someone else, God made you you for a reason, people need to see the authentic you, whether that's a cosplayer with a love of classic rock, a drummer who likes metal, or a worship leader who blasts rap. God gave you character not to be thrown away but to be redirected to bring glory to our sweet Lord.
So don’t feel you have to be generic to be Christian, God just made you to be an unlikely hero. So how can you inspire others to be different but disciples?
Is it bad that I dont... Like... Overfeminism? Like yeah feminism is great but like people who posted brie larsons story saying stuff like "hahaha she just destroyed cis men" are just... Annoying. Like from what I've heard feminism is putting up and supporting women, not pulling down men to do that
