⚽️If you are solid through your core and trunk and you have good posture, you will MOVE much better, you will be faster, more explosive, jump higher and be stronger! This is the first thing you need to focus on before focusing on your leg or arm action. You need to have a solid pillar for your arms and legs to move off of.-
👨🏼💻Let’s talk everyday life. Sitting at your computer or looking down at your phone. This is why we constantly see a protruded head and rounded t-spine. One of the many vital things that it will effect is your breathing, causing shallow breath, leading to more panic, and more of a fight or flight state more often, which we don’t want!-
🧠Anyways, this exercise will target and strengthen your scapula, vital for improving your overall posture.-
1️⃣Lay on the ground face down, with legs shoulder width apart, and arms in a “T” position.
2️⃣Looking down the whole time.
3️⃣Lift off like a plane taking off for landing, trying to squeeze your shoulder blades together as much as possible.
4️⃣Think of squeezing a coin in between your shoulder blades
5️⃣Your legs and arms will lift off of the ground at the same time.
6️⃣HOLD at the top, and back down.-
