You don't have to like someone to just take ONE nugget from them... Get multiple mentors, start building a library, not just Harry Potter or Twighlight books lol... Find REAL mentors, not just someone who has done it or is doing what you wanna be successful in... Cut the middle man and bullshit and go STRAIGHT to the TOP... Why study a guy in the NBA just cus he's in the NBA, yea he's good, he can teach ya some stuff... But why wouldn't you go to the BEST, studies show you will only achieve 10% of the people you're studying or learning from... So you'll become 10% in theory as good as the guy on the bench, but I'd rather be 10% as good as Lebron, Curry, Durant, Westbrook, the best in the League right now... Or Jordan, Bird, Shaq, Johnson, Walton, Russel, the greats of the PAST... I'd rather be 1% of the best than 10% of a mediocre person... Just my theory... 😎🎱
If you don't have $100,000 cash in your bank right now, every $1 you spend should be on investing into YOURSELF and your mind and skill sets... If not you will be CRUSHED the next 3-5 years in whatever business, job, hobby, career you do... 💵💵🖤🐍
Not everyone is your customer. That is a well known business saying. In the context of social media, l’d like to change that to ‘Not everyone is your audience’. Your audience is your tribe. By tribe I mean that group of people who will connect with you through your content. That group of people who will end up following your Instagram & hopefully buying from your business.
Is it mums-to-be preparing for their baby’s arrival? Is it college students looking to rent housing? Is it entrepreneurs looking for a community & motivation? Is it home decor enthusiasts looking for inspiration & recommendations? Is it content creators looking for tips on how to monetize their following? Is it DIYers looking for a community of people to exchange ideas? Is it women looking for well made outfits for different occasions? Is it women who love make-up just as much as you do? Is it men who are into keeping & grooming their beards? Is it generation Z audience who love the on-demand content you produce? Is it working professionals who want career advice? Is it companies who are looking to rebrand? Is it people who are looking for the kind of food you serve in your restaurant? Is it engaged couples looking for a decor vendor or a photographer?
Initially for @sellingwithserah
I knew that I wanted to be sharing social media & ecommerce growth hacking content with like minded people. 20-40 something women who were looking to grow their audience &/or their online sales. Not that I was discriminating against men but because I could relate to the fears, successes & struggles these women face. Though I think I might have some men who find the content interesting following as well.
So depending on what you do, who is that group of people you want following your account? Because that is who you will be creating content for.

. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ➡️"I am #dyslexic
and I did terribly in school and my mom always said, Daymond, put your mind to it, if you do, you can do it!" ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ➡️Dyslexia is not a weakness... it’s simply a different way of learning. I am dyslexic and I am also a parent. Despite being dyslexic myself, it took me years to discover that one of my daughters is dyslexic as well. I wasn’t even the person who spotted it!.. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Daymond says, “I’ll do a speaking engagement for 5000 people, and I’ll say, how many people are dyslexic, and maybe 4 people will raise their hands, right, and usually it’s the CEOs and very very powerful people who raise their hands, but people that work within environments , they’re ashamed and they’re afraid and they don’t say it. Then I start to give the stats about Will Smith and Tom Cruise, and myself, and the four sharks, and all of a sudden everybody's in the room is dyslexic and raising their hands. I want, obviously, to bring this awareness to people.”
