I got a couple dms asking me some questions so I’ll answer them in a post 🙂 1: how many meals a day do you eat ? This might sound unhealthy to some lol ik😂 but honestly keto makes me feel less hungry so I eat 2 meals usually, sometimes 1😆 lol but also sometimes the normal 3! It varies on the day 😭😂 but I don’t feel hungry enough to snack. 2: what types of food do you eat on keto? I eat beef or chicken. Also I make sure I eat some sort of veggie ( go to is broccoli) also I incorporate cheese in most meals, I know some people think dairy isn’t the best but I love cheese lol and I don’t drink reg milk always almond 🤷🏻♀️ 😂. For my sweet tooth I’ve posted some foods on my page such as my keto cereal or natural PB and yogurt that are yummy. 3: what’s your goal weight ? My goal weight is 150. My ideal goal weight is probably around 130 though, but I wanna make it to 150 for now lol. 4: what’s your highest weight ? What made you want to lose weight ? 302 LBS. well for one.. I’ve always had low confidence about my figure and two I don’t want to keep gaining weight till I’m at a weight that’s going to make it harder for me to lose weight. When I went on a scale and saw I reached 300 I was in shock and I knew then I had to make lifestyle changes or else I’d keep gaining and feeling shitty. 5: have you had struggles in your weight loss journey ? Yes. I don’t think I’m at the point where I want to share the struggles but I developed a bad habit in the course of my journey and I’m recovering as the days go on thankfully. But sometimes you are desperate or influenced. When I’m ready I’ll share more, but not anytime soon. Pretty stoked I actually feel hungry today! Normally I am constantly hungry but these last 3 weeks, I have rarely felt hungry at all. I think poor health is the reason for my weight loss struggles this diet, i am in a deep deficit and should be dropping weight. Thankfully, i think i have identified the cause of my health issues (fingers crossed) and come Monday, i am making some big lifestyle changes. My fingers are also crossed i will drop the weight i want to by Saturday, but at this point, having figured out my body a whole lot recently, even if i don't, i am very happy with what i've learnt about myself! 🙋🏽♀️ So the first picture was taken around 10 months ago. I went through a bit of a rough patch with life in general and completely lost my drive. I was binge eating and fell completely off track with training too, maybe turning up 2-3 times a week and doing a really poor workout when I did go. I was just after finishing an aggressive cut and all it took was a couple of weeks until my bad eating eating habits(emotional eating) took over and I felt like there wasn’t even a point anymore. I remember around the time I took this picture I knew I had to pull myself together because I was capable of so much more! I began to track calories lightly first and then eventually back into my meal planing as well as tracking my training sessions. Within 3-4 short weeks I felt like myself again and was in a much better state both physically and mentally! Now I’m 3 weeks into my workout routine #CarolinesFitPlan

A lot of people ask how I lost overall body fat.
Well....to be clear yes I have worked out the last 4+ years but the main reason includes getting in control, and knowing all the deets of my nutrition. 🥑🥦
Most people think you need to eat less to lose weight, which technically yes is true. BUT that depends on if you know your matienence calories, if you have been sitting there consistently for a few months, there for earned the right to cut your calories. 🙊
When putting yourself into a caloric deficit when your body isn't prepared for it (like doing crash diets, 30 day weightloss challenges etc.) some ways to tell your body isn't ready to "diet" include:
▪Never being hungry/chronically hungry⚡
▪Hormone imbalance ⚡
▪Not losing weight ⚡
▪Low performance/energy in the gym⚡

HOW TO SHED FAT AND KEEP IT OFF
I think sometimes we like to over complicate the diet. No matter what diet you try, they are all designed to do one thing, and that is to help you eat less than you are right now to shed fat.
This post is not meant to say that you can’t eat ice cream or burgers or anything like that again but is meant to demonstrate the high calorie diet of many people. While I believe dieting is relatively simple (I didn’t say easy) I think we must remember a few things.
1. The habits that got you to the unwanted fat that you have right now, are not going to be the same habits after the diet is over.
2. Your lifestyle will need to be a bit different to become the best version of yourself possible.
3. Your metabolism adapts as you diet. So the plan will be ineffective and possibly detrimental if you go back to the same habits and calories that you were eating before the diet.
I want to say this too. I’ve been there. I’ve lost 10 pounds, been super excited, and then went back to eating sweets and calorie dense foods on a regular basis and gained MORE weight than I lost. It’s not easy to do. Which is why you need a plan for when the diet is over.
Most diet plans don’t teach this and this is why I don’t and won’t recommend a specific fad diet. So how do you maintain?
Adding in foods that you enjoy here and there and slowly increasing your portion sizes will help you maintain the weight over time. It can be a little more complicated than this which is why I recommend a coach or someone to hold you accountable and teach you how to do it on your own but this is the basics.
I’m also just talking about dieting here. Exercise is a whole other monster but I believe that diet accounts for 80% of anyone’s fat loss success.
