Since some folks don’t seem to understand, please enjoy my rant. First and foremost, the point to removing DWUW was to stand by the victims and support them. As a survivor herself, it would be sickening to continue to stand by him after this. She has always been an advocate for rape/assault/abuse, and this solidifies her stance of always supporting victims. In a time when victims are shamed for speaking up, we NEED more people in power to do the same as Gaga has done. Secondly, she removed it to stop allowing R Kelly to profit from it. Third, I don’t blame Gaga in the slightest for not wanting to be associated with him. Of course she can’t change printed media (CD’s, Vinyls, etc.) but I would 100% do the same thing if I were her and I applaud her for removing it from streaming platforms. As always, I’ll stan her until my death. She’s an inspiration for EVERYone with her kindness and activism.
I also want to show my support with Lady gaga decision to eliminate on all platforms her song "DWUW feat r kelly" .
