How quaint 😌 I miss the snow already 🙇🏼♂️
The little bird friend I made today who hopped around in front of me for a good quarter of a mile before being scared off by a car 🐥
The farmers here have been out in force, clearing these huge snow drifts from most of the rural lanes.. Today it was my mission to find the last of them before they start to thaw. The trees on the right sit on a ridge above the surface of the road, this drift was 4-5ft in places 🌨 #Kentartica
The blizzard conditions from the snow whipping off the fields in the high winds reminded me of the film ‘The Thing’. Small problem... I’ve never seen it 👀 Regardless, I felt inspired and so put together this! #SnowGiant
When the background is too ugly zoomed in so you make the foreground pretty instead #DamnIndustrialPlant
Sally isn’t a huge fan of the snow, so Holly gave her some reassuring nuzzles and kisses 🐶❄️🐶
Today’s golden hour, featuring an inquisitive horse 🐴
One half of a two piece series.. I need to go find and buy an old suitcase for part 2. I’ll probably procrastinate over that for a month or so 🙋🏼♂️
Forever lost in a woods somewhere 🚶🏻♂️
Sally was pretty content with her find 😌
Taken somewhere along our way up to the north of Scotland 🗻
Worth the detour, I’d say.
The calm before the bog. Oh how I missed this dry, clear-cut path 😁 #shotoniphone
I think I may have to get this one hung on my bedroom wall 🤔 Oh and can all camera manufacturers please add automatic panorama stitching please... thanks 🙋🏼♂️#Panorama
This was one of the many incredible pit stops we had to make on our way to Shenavall. How can you just drive by somewhere as beautiful as this, after all?
Completely off the grid in one of the most remote locations in the UK (and with unrelenting rain outside), we read through ‘bothy book’ entries from years past and soon realised we weren’t alone in the sketchiness of our trip there. There was also a game of who could tell the most convincing, elaborate or absurd lies and stories about the bothy and their experiences. We opted to go for the convincing route, and may have people scouring the bothy outside and in for the entrance to a ‘well-stocked basement complete with a wine cellar’ for some time to come 🤫
After a 3-4 hour hike through the mountains and endless bogs - in the wind, rain and snow.. we finally stumbled across a large shape in the darkness that wasn’t just another boulder. We’d arrived at Shenavall bothy 🏠 It wasn’t until the morning, however, that we got to appreciate the sheer beauty of its setting 🌄 I wanted to evoke a sense of the dwarfing scale of the landscape in which it was situated.
👋🏻 from deep within the Scottish Highlands 🗻
Big shoutout to @martellcognac
for supporting small creators. I had a lot of fun shooting this, and it gave me a good excuse to go out and enjoy the snow ⛄️ Oh, and I’m definitely counting this as an early Christmas present 🍹🎄
