While there is some sort of hate towards snacking (be side it makes you fat apparently), I think snacking is not only fine but actually more beneficial than avoiding it for most people especially when looking to get lean, fit, and healthy. It stabilizes blood sugar levels while also allowing a constant and continuous influx of nutrients and fuel into your body throughout the day, making it easier on your digestive system to work effectively and efficiently while maintaining a good energy level. When it comes to building muscle, some of these snacks may need to be a bit more calorically-dense, but that doesn't mean pop tarts, donuts, cookies, and trash protein bars (not all are trash, but most). Here are some snacks I like to have: banana and peanut butter on toast (not only is it high in calories, carbs, fats, and protein, but there is almost no better combo than PB and banana, let's just lay that where it may), smoothies (I like to add bananas and dates along with protein and some chia seeds to up the calories and micronutrient content), apple and cashews (don't neglect getting in those healthy fats, but also fruit does not make you fat no matter what nonsense someone told you. If so...I'd be a whale), proats (a high carb and high protein meal that I think is best suited post-workout), homemade energy balls (because they are a little bit of a dessert let alone are very calorically-dense especially when made with a peanut butter and date base), and chia pudding (super high in healthy fats and protein, both required to build muscle). Takže dneska to vyšlo na nejtěžší Bench prvního týdne. 3 jedničky se 155 a 157.5kg. Na rozcvičování používám loketní bandáže #sbd na pracovní série se pak snažím jít aspoň na většinu tak jako na závodech. Sice je vidět že se malinko bojím protože jsem neměl moc oporu v nohou jak jsem psal posledně, ale podepsalo se to jen na rychlosti a ne na síle. 👉Now that I am getting back into my traditional bodybuilding strength training program, I have started to implement techniques such as added resistance from bands into my routine. 🤯😍 ****************************** Here are some reasons as to why I personally love adding bands to dumbbell flies. 🦇 ******************************* 1️⃣ Better contraction at top - dumbbell flies are a common movement the majority of us implement but I personally would always have issues focusing on the squeeze at the top. With bands the farther you get through the movement the more resistance the bands produce, allowing you to get a much more effective contraction at the peak🤔. ——————————————————— 2️⃣ Stabilizes the movement- Placing bands across your back will help your stabilizers guide the weight in a fluid like fashion, the resistance of the band pulls the weight back in the same direction and angle every time, this is great for beginners who tend to over exagerate the eccentric (stretching portion of the exercise) which commonly leads to shoulder based injuries. ——————————————————— 3️⃣My favorite part is the DROP SET, as soon as you’ve hit your required number of repititions, drop the weights and solely do flies with the bands. Machine Chest Press The beauty of machines is that they focus on a very fixed range of motions and are extremely good at targeting the muscle of interest. I prefer to use machines for safety as I dont always have a spotter with me. . The chest press in general works out 3 main muscle groups. The pecs(both major and minor), the front delts, and the triceps. This machine is on a flat incline. However, changing the incline will determine the shoulder, orc minor and tricep activation. Bulk season progress pic after crushing today’s glorious Chest Day session. Definitely seeing growth in my size overall while maintaining my shreds which can be difficult. Flashing back to when I could’ve died under the bench on Saturday (literally, no joke) when the barbell slipped out of my hands & 225 pounds crashed on top of me, I’m grateful God blessed me with a strong core because it saved my life & saved me from sustaining any internal injury.
