If you've been following my page long enough you heard me say this before, but I'll say it again! Everytime I start my day, and put my firearm on, as well as every time I end my day and take my firearm off. I use these opportunities to get a few draw Strokes in to work proper firearm presentation. Aqfter doing this for many years of living the CCW lifestyle, I have become more efficient in my draw presentation. Draw presentation is the first and most important part of a gunfight! if you get this part right, you now get to be ahead in the fight. I see many people focus on the CCW lifestyle by going to the range and Performing target shooting. Yes accuracy is important, but what is more important and must come first..... draw presentation! Which is often overlooked. Another aspect that needs to be trained is should I even draw my pistol in the first place? Is it an appropriate time to shoot? Being able to assess the situation and understand where you parked in the use of force Matrix must also be trained. These are all aspects that should be covered, but are often overlooked because of the excitement of target shooting and recreational shooting at a range. So getting back to my point every time you put your firearm on or take your firearm off perform 5 to 10 good draw presentations. Start slow and as you become more efficient let the speed increase naturally.
