When strength training, you have to remember that form is king. 👑If you can’t keep good form, you need to drop your weight down and try bumping it up later. It’s also good to remember that stability is important as well.
For example, today I was struggling with keeping my upper body stable while doing many of the moves in my shoulder workout. A simple solution—take your feet from hip-width stance to a kickstand stance, as shown. This helps to stabilize the body keeping the work isolated to the muscles you are working instead of swaying the body and using momentum to lift. 👍✌️💪

I’ve managed to keep the weight off these past 10 years. 👏🏼👏🏼 But it hasn’t been easy though.
I’ve managed to keep off the 40lbs I’ve lost. Although, I still want to lose more weight, but I’m not focusing on the number. ❌
I’m focusing on eating right, proper portions, and exercising. I incorporate Zumba 💃🏻 and strength training 💪🏼 although sometimes I don’t make it to strength training classes because I have two little ones who needs tending to. And you know what, that’s okay.
I always try to give 100% in class, but that always doesn’t happen. 😐😐 Never forget that it takes time and dedication to see progress. Don’t beat yourself up. It doesn’t happen overnight. I know sometimes I beat myself up about it, but I take it day by day. 🙂

Amiright? Or am I right? Seriously friends, eat your fat. I know there are lots of people saying that if you have fat to lose, to not eat more fat on keto because you'll be using the stored fat for energy. That is not the case in terms of weightloss FOR ME. Eating enough fat will keep you satiated, which in turn will keep you from overeating and most of all craving sugar and then cheating. The benefits of increased healthy fats are incredible - I suggest you do some more reading on that. Your stored fat does nothing for the food you put in your mouth and ultimately THAT is what will bring about the weight loss you seek.
