Working and Childcare
Sometimes captions aren't required for photos. In this case, I think it's quite obvious as to who is in charge around here now; parading around on her horse.
This week has seen the start to a whole new routine for us. Maternity leave is officially over, and @jueberrybean
has gone back to work part time. With this comes new morning routines and most importantly childcare.
I'd be lying if I said I hadn't been looking forward to waking her up in the morning for a change. But sadly she's beaten me to it twice now, just waiting all happy with offers of teddies and pointing around her room to find out what things are. Now come 7am she is all ready for the day, with her new back pack ready from the night before.
We chose to go down the route of a childminder over a nursery at this stage, and we couldn't be happier so far. 2 full days in, and she's already been off to explore old abbeys and arboretums. Whilst we get to sit back and see how she gets on through the #tapestryjournal
. I really do like that little touch, and it means we get to see what she had got up to without us. I think it's safe to say she doesn't miss us yet.
I really didn't know how I'd feel about it. It's strange. However, it's all just fallen in to place and now feels normal. Eliza clearly loves it (they have dinosaurs), and we are back to working.
For the downside, she's off tomorrow and I leave once more for the rest of the week with work. That bit of the routine I'm not a fan of... #childcare #babylife #babies #cutebaby #babygirl #baby #babyproblems #childminder #daughter #babiesofinstagram #babyblog #dadlife #workingdad #dadblog #dadblogger #dadproblems #dadvice #blog #blogger #instadad #motherhood #workingmom #fatherhood #dailyparenting #parentlife
