My Best Friend is a Vampire, 1987.
“After a sexual encounter with a beautiful client, a teenage delivery boy finds himself being turned into a vampire.”
I don’t know how I missed Brainscan when it came out, since I was all about Eddie Furlong in the ‘90s. This movie would have been sooo much better if it hadn’t shown so much ‘Trickster’, ugh.
Crítica Sensata (No.47)
Filme: Terminator 2 - Judgment Day (O Exterminador do Futuro 2: Dia do Julgamento Final)

“Hollywood doesn't need me. After #Amélie
I didn't get any offers that interested me. I have very eclectic tastes, but it's important for me that a movie be sensitive, clever and subtle.”
[welcome home, roxy carmichael; 1990]
"A small town prepares for the homecoming of superstar Roxy Carmichael, as does a young outsider, who believes Roxy is her mother."
Do they really need to have things like this, that remind me that I’m old?? Really don’t need the reminder 20th Anniversary edition 😒#retro90s #gettingold #90smovies

River Phoenix was born River Jude Bottom in Madras, Oregon on Aug. 23, 1970. His first name was chosen for the "river of life" in Herman Hesse’s novel Siddhartha, and his middle name was an homage to the Beatles’ song "Hey Jude".
When River was 3, his family joined the religious group Children of God and became missionaries in Venezuela. When they became disillusioned with the group after a few years, they returned to the U.S., settling in Florida and changing their last name to Phoenix to symbolize their rebirth.
Phoenix was a vegan since childhood, making the decision when he became upset seeing fisherman near his Venezuela home killing their catch.
He was a dedicated activist for the environment and animal rights. He was a spokesperson for PETA, which honored him with its Humanitarian Award in 1992.
Phoenix’s image was of a squeaky-clean young man, thanks to his veganism and devotion to environmental causes. In interviews, he chafed against the one-note stereotype, which he felt didn’t fully describe him.
River died on Oct. 31, 1993 outside Hollywood nightclub The Viper Room with his siblings Rain and Joaquin at his side. Toxicology reports showed that the cause of death was a drug overdose. He was only 23.
[when harry met sally, 1989]
"Harry and Sally have known each other for years, and are very good friends, but they fear sex would ruin the friendship."
See how this breathtaking scene from “Inception” was filmed. 💥

Actors and their doppelgängers from the past!
“Tim Burton was originally set to direct. He had worked with Screenwriters Caroline Thompson and Larry Wilson individually. Thompson on Edward Scissorhands (1990) and The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), and Wilson on Beetlejuice (1988).” // i wonder why he didn’t work on this. It would have been rad af.
