My favorite workout program is an 80 day long program and I got the best results while doing this particular program! It was an hour a day and it seriously transformed my mind and body! Little did I know this program also increased fertility 😳...there are a lot of #80dayobsessionbabies

My favorite kind of post... 😏🙈 I seem to be the perfect example of the importance of taking measurements!! 📏 My weight is the same (🤬🤬🤬 is how I feel about that...), but I *LOST* 6 inches!!! 🎉🎉🎉 It still blows my mind how that is even possible, but I’ll take it + know that the scale will eventually have to catch up! 💁🏻♀️
Good morning and happy Wednesday everyone !!! Hell yes - everything is burning , shoulders on fire 🔥 Total body core , pushed back up on weights , there aren’t any loops today ! Plus my December challenge - yep everything is shaking now ! Weird but Bella was already awake when I woke up so she has lovingly driven me crazy all morning 🤣 Had some me time last night and had my hair done - that’s always relaxing , but I actually need someone to come do my hair for me this morning after that workout lol 😂 But seriously felt strong 💪🏻 and heavy weights pushed me almost to failure a couple times 😊👊🏻🔥 Ever wonder why people look negatively on others making healthy decisions and commend the ones that don’t - it’s sad that our society has gotten to this point ! And we wonder why so many children and adults are obese - I love seeing everyone here with their children joining in and wanting to exercise too ! My oldest daughter is at college , working , on a budget but she is doing her second round of LIIFT4 and learning what she can eat healthy on a budget and she’s still learning but she’s doing it ! It was about this time 2 years when I decided to change my life. I was tired of the way I was feeling and how I was eating. I hated to go shopping because of what sizes I had to buy. I had no energy to raise my two kids.
I researched several weight loss programs and read so many reviews on every strategy until I found what I was looking for. I wasn’t looking for a quick weight loss diet where I had to starve myself or restrict myself from the foods I love. I didn’t want to count calories or points for every piece of food I put in my mouth. I wanted a program that would teach me a clean way to eat while still enjoying my favorites carbs and sweets! (At the time)
21 day fix was my answer and I will be forever grateful for this program that I started with. I bought this program in December 2016 and gave myself a couple weeks over Christmas break to try some workouts, shakes and sample meal plans. I fell in love and officially started my journey on January 7, 2017. I remember that day so clearly but don’t ever want to look back to that girl I was.
I have learned how to enjoy life, be a better momma and wife, and take care of myself. At my age it is so important to exercise 30 minutes a day and fuel my body with the nutrients it needs to live a long life. I feel amazing and you wouldn’t believe how much more energy I have. Looking back at this time 2 years ago, I was scared but I knew it was something that had to be done.

When I started this fit life journey in October 2018, I didn’t know what to expect, but here I am 2 months later, December 2018-DAY 39 and I am proud to say that I have dropped a dress size, and gained a few muscles. Not to mention my eating habits are much better, I love the way I feel in my clothes again and I am learning that hard work and determination can pay off.
journey is not done just yet, but it was one of the BEST investments I made in myself.

this is your tuesday reminder that if i can do it so can you. if you aren't happy in any aspect of life i need you to reread what is typed in all caps. i have consistently been fighting the battle of fear of being alone physically and fear of being alone mentally and trying to decide which is more important in what circumstance. i've changed my body in a years time fighting this fear, i've been able to step out of my comfort zone and set boundaries with different relationships and as scary as it is i've been disciplined enough to show up for me again and again and again. Yesterday was day 1 of my 21 day program and I was feeling super down for some reason. I let the scale get to me. And then I was looking at the video of my workout and had to take this snapshot cause I see some little muscles! This last month was hard and I didn’t make much progress. Or so I thought. I cannot stress to you how important it is to take progress pictures and measurements! The scale WILL fluctuate! Please please do not rely on the scale for progress! I’m going to put mine away for the next 20 days and i will not weigh myself until then. I challenge you to do the same! ❤️ #tiptuesday

You see the girl you watch everyday, isn’t who I have always been. That girl, well she’s been working to be here for more than 10 years. That girl, who YOU may see as perfect— is anything but. ⠀
Like you I have a story; a struggle. I wasn't reaching my fitness goals despite working out daily. So I started P90X and didn’t change my diet. I lost inches and pounds… like my metabolism realized it was there and had a job to do, until I plateaued again. And there it was staring me in the face, I was going to have to fully commit if I wanted to really see the changes I wanted. ⠀
I started 80 Day Obsession. If I am honest, I wasn’t sold the first week. I wasn’t burning as many calories as I did with P90X or on a run. I was doubting myself and the process.⠀
I finished 80 DO on Saturday. I have honestly never felt so accomplished, no even when I graduated from college. The photos I have shared of the outside show nothing of the changes that happened inside of me, and they are the big ones. ⠀
When you think of your struggles and feel discouraged, just remember you are not alone. Your journey may be different, but I can still understand what you are going through, I know the struggle.⠀
Also remember that this is YOUR story and no one can write it but you, so if you are willing to accept mediocre then that’s on you. If you want to change, then you have to do it!⠀

When things get hard , when you don’t feel well , when life throws you a curve ball , this is when your determination , your will , your grit really show ! I had a horrible practically debilitating headache with nausea yesterday ! I had to force myself to eat my food so I could stay on track with my nutrition. My director ultimately kept telling me to go home but I hated to leave my staff. I finally headed home a little early , my husband helped with dinner and I did eat a little and then crashed for a bit , woke up and headache done just some nausea. I didn’t eat as many calories as I should have after that killer workout yesterday morning so as weird as it is I woke up a little bloated I don’t know why that happens , you think less food would not do that but for me it does ! Got up this morning and no excuses got it done ! Cardio core sweat session done ✅ yes I know a lot of people , mainly my husband , would say take a day off , take it easy. I just don’t work like that and that’s just me - I mean I’m safe if I woke up with a crushing headache and throwing up I wouldn’t have done it but I have goals and I’m staying on my course ! Jorgen and I went and cut down a Christmas tree for the first time together and we had so much fun! it’s definitely going to be a tradition now! We got the car stuck a few times but it was all part of the experience!
We trudged through snow that was about halfway up my shin and going into my boots haha. We were going uphill the whole time and I realized that last year I absolutely wouldn’t have been able to do that especially for so long! We took a few short breaks to catch our breath but I was feeling so good and had so much energy It was hard for sure but I know that last year would have been even harder for me. Also, when the car got stuck I didn’t want to be the one to drive so I got out and pushed and I was able to help get it out of the rut. I was so proud of myself because I know I’ve gotten so much stronger! Thanks to #beachbody
and my hard work and dedication I’m able to do things and live my life without my body restricting me. #itworksyall
Day 1 vs day 40, half way done!
I cant believe I started this using small 8lb and 15lb weights. I'm now up to using 20 and 35lbs!
How absolutely insane is that?!
I still use 15lbs on some work outs but anything lower is way to light for me.
This program is flying by and I'm kinda going to be sad once it ends.
But its giving me exactly what I was hoping it would.
I only have 10 more days till the end of phase 2!!!! Seriously I recommend this work out program to anyone wanting to get into shape. It's amazing. And there is a modifier so dont worry! I use her on days where I'm feeling a bit sore in my back.
Today I'll be taking care of my sick hubby and baby for the rest of the day.
Maybe some cleaning but besides that it's a relaxing day.

Here are my 80 Day Obsession results! I lost a total of 13lbs and 13.2inches overall! 😊 I feel like to my eyes, the most noticeable changes are in my butt and legs but my chest and back lost the most inches. (I do want to note that I did not follow the timed nutrition plan that comes with this program. Instead I did the 21 Day Fix plan about 80% of the time.)The very last picture is a total progress picture from when I first started trying to be healthier and get fit. My second round of 80 Day Obsession is over! Last time I gained 3 pounds but lost 3 inches. This time I lost 3 pounds AND 2 inches.
Compared to the results after my first round I have lost 9 lbs and 2 inches. I still didn’t do the best on nutrition seeing how I am a poor college student once again who stress eats quite often 😂 but that’s the whole point! THATS OKAY! This process is all about body positivity and making your love for what your body can do not what it looks like stronger.

I'm so proud of my Mom.
She made the decision to do #80dayobsession
back in August to create a healthier lifestyle for her future.
She had some set backs with a previous back injury, but she didn't let that stop her from finishing her 80 days. She took the time to recover, and jumped back in.
Today when she finished her final workout, she said, "It wasn't easy, but it was worth it."❤ I have watched her struggle, I have watched her sweat, I have watched her scream at and laugh with @autumncalabrese.
I watched her learn, I watched her get stronger, and I watched her become more confident in who she is. She always kept pushing until she physically couldn't.

Forgot to post earlier after I finished - been a busy morning ! Phase 2 cardio flow completed - sweat 💦 session in full effect ! My daughter called as of today she is officially a senior at JMU 💜💛 Wow so awesome but damn I feel old now lol 😂 Spent some time with Ryan before he headed out for another extra shift 💙💙 So excited I got my transform :20 boxes yesterday ! And Bella and I are going to decorate the tree when I’m done getting cleaned up and looking presentable 😂😂 Tried to get some good ab pictures today to show how happy I am with where I’m at so far - nutrition is truly the key , my obliques are cutting in and I’m starting to see some small changes down the middle - can’t seem to get the best picture of it but I know it’s there and that’s an awesome gain for me ! Remember to enjoy every small gain you have , it won’t always be the scale or the inches , it may be your energy , your endurance , how your clothes fit , what you see in the mirror , a compliment by someone who notices your hard work and dedication , it may be that you know you did awesome at your nutrition- it can be so many things and each of these are just as important ! I worked out on good days, tired days, birthdays. I worked out in Las Vegas and Zion National Park. I worked out with a baby on my hip and a toddler at my feet. I worked out when I wanted to and when it was the last thing I wanted to do.
I started the program in September knowing that I had weddings, vacations, and holidays ahead. Guess what! It’s only an hour a day.
If you’re waiting for the right time..ITS NOW!
This is just a reminder that you are still in control. And I don’t know about you, but I’m not done with 2018 yet!!! (I haven’t even had a birthday this year. Lol) .

it’s been taking me WAY longer than 80 days and I’ve been struggling so much. It got to the point where I dread it everyday and some days I end up not working out at all. And I’m so sad about it! I don’t want to be a quitter but I need to do what works for me. So, I’m going to do something different in the mean time but someday I promise myself that I will finish 80 day obsession from start to finish! It’s a great program. I’m so excited to make changes and see more progress soon! It’s been a battle for me because I don’t want to quit. But I can’t stress how important it is to find something that works for you and do that thing! 80DO is just not working for me right now and that’s okay! It’s important to be happy and to keep going everyday but find something you enjoy! ❤️❤️ This is where in the past, I would have quit entirely! But this time I’m not, I’m just making changes. I’m still trying everyday and that’s all that matters. Anybody else feeling this way?! The best thing about beachbody is that there are so many different programs to choose from! If one is not working for you, you can try something else! Just. Don’t. Quit.
