Today I had two non scale victories. As you can see, my face is so much different than 8 months ago. Another thing is that I have wide calves, always had, so half leg boots were a no-no for me, but not anymore. Today they zipped all the way up and they dont make my legs look like they're swollen😀. I have to celebrate these small victories and give myself a pat on the back for such mentality change because that's what it takes. It's not about the lbs and dress sizes, to me it is about discipline and becoming a better me, ALWAYS. Change your mind and you'll change your life.
to when this was the hardest thing we had to do all week 💁🏼♀️🤸🏼♀️ it's no lie that i'm a girls girl. i love friendship. women who support and love each other are my jam. i loved being a kappa, i loved being a part of dance marathon and i loved being a part of turbo in toledo. i had found gals who were like minded, fun and made me laugh. 💙💙💙 making friends as an adult is hard which is why i'm so thankful for this community. every human in this picture was a stranger until a few months ago and until a week ago they were just someone in my laptop. 👯♀️👯♀️ we brainstormed, danced, drank, ate, SWEAT, and LAUGHED OUR FACES OFF.
getting to watch people change mentally and physically paired with this community is why i love being a coach . it literally has changed my life in more ways than one 🤗 so i guess moral of this sapp story is ummmmm can we go back to south beach now? 😝
The reason people give up so quickly is because they tend to look at how far they still have to go instead of realizing how far they’ve come.
I used to be one of those people. I never thought about taking it one day at a time. I was always overwhelmed about how much weight needed to come off me to be healthy. I hated carrying around so much extra weight but the thought of taking months/years to do it scared me and made me sick.
Every day I wake up and choose to do it. There’s no excuses. Am I perfect and get all my workouts in and eat the way I’m suppose to? Nope. I realized that being hard on yourself is the WORST thing you can do to sabotage yourself.
So take it easy on yourself and look at this journey as exactly that...a journey. It doesn’t happen overnight but then one day you take a photo and compare it to where you were 5 months ago and shock yourself. You’ll be proud of the hard work you’re putting in and you won’t want to stop!

YOU GUYS!!! I was very very VERY embarrassed to post these pictures on a PUBLIC instagram. Especially because I knew that there are tons of people that I know that follow me whether it be from work, college, or even high school. I was embarrassed because looking back at the pictures before I started 80DO, I never knew I looked like that. My stomach was constantly bloated because I would eat processed foods and things that were not good for my body. After eating clean, whole foods for 3 months my body has completely changed. I lost a total of 5 inches off of my body, gained some inches (in the right places aka legs and booty) and I lost a total of 5 pounds. ➖➖➖
I am so proud of how far I’ve come in my fitness journey. This program has taught me how to eat right (how to fuel my body with food) and how to love to exercise daily!! I’m so thankful for @autumncalabrese

These pictures are 9 months apart. Same pants. Same bra. Same mirror. This is what hard work looks like. The part you can’t see is how it also makes me FEEL!❤️❤️ I feel a million times happier, healthier, more energized, and determined. I don’t know what it is, but completing something hard that you’ve worked on makes your total mood and mindset change. I couldn’t have done it without 80 day Obsession! I have been dragging my feet on sharing these photos for a few reasons.
The biggest being towards the end of this program I had an emergency surgery to remove my appendix and it definitely set me back some.
I took 2 weeks off and even when I started back my body needed me to listen and make more modifications than I was use to🙈
Although that was disappointing I did NOT give up! That just wasn’t an option 🙅🏻♀️ I listened. I did the modifications. I took extra time. Whatever I needed to do to recovery safely, I was doing! .
So although my results could have been VERY different without that obstacle I am so proud of how far I came both physically and mentally💪🏼
God always has a plan and that valley I went through was part of it🙌🏻
In any good story, the heroine has her fair share of challenges to overcome. And in fact, the bigger the challenges, the better the story! .

Change is scary. Everyone likes routines. When we change something, it takes a while before it feels like the new norm. At first it feels awkward, weird and most of the time a bit overwhelming.
Trust me, this new lifestyle of waking up at 4am, meal prepping and exercising didn’t start out super easy. Heck, it’s still not easy. But it’s routine now. In order for me to hit my health and fitness goals, my life HAD to change. My mindset had to change. Nothing was going to change if I didn’t change the way I was living. -

this whole misconception of fitness people being perfect 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ it's about doing the best you can, it's about choosing healthy foods & moving more MOST of the time. it's about always trying to be better and being open to personal growth. i get so many hesitations from people who think they need to be at their perfect weight or give up alcohol or never have a cheat meal or meals let's me honest, before they would be a 'good' online fitness coach and do what i do. 🙅🏼♀️🙅🏼♀️ SO WRONG! there are so many things i do now BECAUSE i said yes to this opportunity! nutrition is very high on the list. Workouts were fun for me but nutrition was blah. i never meal prepped or cooked healthy foods. i was your typical drive thru gal. 🤷🏼♀️🍟🍔🍕🌯 & even though my major was exercise science - i never did any strength training regularly until after i graduated from college and it was because of p90x2. sharing with others what you learned along the way is what this whole FITNESS THING is about. helping people grow, meeting them where they are ... oh and having a community of gals doing just that right along with ya 🤜🏼🤛🏼🤸🏼♀️💕

Ok stop the bus! TODAY WAS THE DAY!! After taking 15 weeks off of working out to recover from my abdominoplasty with muscle repair, I decided this day would be the day. Day one. From hundreds of Beachbody videos to choose from, I decided to start with the most basic...the one I started with over 2 years ago. 21 day fix. It was 30 mins. But don’t let that fool you. I sweat, I swore, I huffed and puffed, but I finished and got the job done. It did have a section of abs, but I modified and did more cardio;) I am so proud of myself. Starting again was HUGE for me. I was terrified of hurting myself and setting myself back. I’ve made excuses for weeks on why I couldn’t press play again, but I listened to my body and started when I felt it was right. Yes I’ve lost a lot of muscle mass and endurance which is frustrating for me, but if I concentrate on one day at a time, I will get it back in no time. I seriously am walking on cloud nine after jumping this hurdle and getting out of my own head and I can’t wait to see how far I can go with my new bod that has been under wraps for so long. Many won’t give a shit or understand, but I don’t care. This is a HUGE moment for me and I am SO proud of me. So often I hear that someone is afraid to try a new fitness program. It's scary to try something new. But what is more often than not at the heart of their hesitance to try is: what if it actually works?
You see, there's actual science going on here. If you give something like a new fitness program or nutrition plan a try and it actually works, then you can't actually blame not getting results on the things you may have been pointing the finger at all along. For me, I blamed bad genes, a pre-diabetes diagnosis, two years on fertility meds, having two kids, and so on for not being able to get awesome results from fitness programs I had tried in the past.
But then I decided to go all in and ... it worked. So now it's clear that all of those things I blamed, above, weren't actually preventing me from getting in the best shape of my life after all. The problem was ME.
Sometimes you have to have a come to Jesus moment with yourself and be honest: why haven't you see results and why are you so scared to invest in your health, quite possibly the most important thing in your life?
It's not easy to place the blame on yourself. It's sooo much easier to point the finger elsewhere. I mean, who wants to actually be in the wrong anyway? But the truth is, most often it's ourselves that are the problem.
So I say, take the leap, get rid of your excuses as to why it ain't working for ya, and GO ALL IN. You have amazing health to gain. Isn't that worth every penny in the world to be healthy?

Motivation Monday ;; Meet Jennifer . .
I’ve never met Jennifer in person, but I’ve had the pleasure of watching her journey through one of our most successful accountability groups.
Jen started her journey in February, when 80 day obsession first came out. She ended the program losing 34 lbs ! Amazing 🙌🏼🙌🏼 she then went on a vacation where she enjoyed some of her favorite treats , foods and drinks . She remained active and listened to how her body felt.
She returned home and started her second round of 80 day obsession while still enjoying summer events and celebrations. Her diet didn’t follow meal plan to a T, but what she did notice was she was naturally making better choices because of how it made her feel.
Jennifer now works out without feeling guilty. She realizes a healthier mom is a happier mom. 💙 She ended with a total of 50.6 lbs lost and 40 inches off her body. .
