The Taylors are long time family friends and students of Capitol Martial Arts Academy. Both their sons, Nolan (12yo) and Cal (7yo) have been training at CMAA since they were 4.
Cal was diagnosed with a life threatening immune disease called JM (Juvenile Myositis). It attacks any part of the body causing pain, weakness, the inability to walk, disfigurement, organ failure and can also be fatal.
Our CMAA warrior, Cal, not only takes over 250 doses of oral steroids but goes in weekly for chemo injections, infusions, and steroid shots-all to try to help him gain strength and regain his health.
There is no cure....YET. But that’s where we, our CMAA Community, come in to help. Like most rare diseases, JM Research funding comes almost entirely from grassroots efforts. In a last effort push to help Cal reach his fundraising goal, we have created an exclusive CMAA #calstrong
Hoodie. 100% of the collected efforts of this Hoodie will go towards Cal's fundraising goal.
After recently seeing the overwhelming support of your CMAA teammates online.....Cal, you mentioned you're not afraid anymore. No worries "Lil Warrior," we got your back. Which is why we chose to put your hashtag on the back of our CMAA Hoodie.
The Taylor family and including Cal are extremely grateful to everyone at CMAA for their generous donations.
