We heard it’s #NationalCheeseburgerDay , and we’re celebrating with our 189 Burger, with a double patty of tender short rib and chuck blend, smoky pickled onions, tomato concasse confit, Tomme de Savoie cheese, and lemon Dijon espelette aioli, on a toasted homemade potato bun, with crispy hand-cut fries on the side. I finally made it to brunch at 189 by Dominique Ansel this past Saturday. Brunch is served dim sum style meaning servers walk around carrying different dishes and after you place your order, you get your card stamped. This style of brunch is great because you can eat as soon as you sit down. This is their famous soft scrambled eggs that pairs well with toast and their signature thick cut bacon. These were tasty but creamy and I prefer my eggs cooked a little "drier" so that's one thing to consider. But one item I HIGHLY recommend that I didn't get a good picture of are their biscuits. They were so good, we actually got two orders! They were buttery and moist on the inside and had a nice crunch with a hint of salt on the outside. The biscuits were a standout and definitely something I order again!
