Yogurts! Are they good for us? The quick answer is yes!
We do still need to check those labels though.

Yogurts contain sugar naturally. This is called lactose, and that natural sugar is fine to consume. It's the added sugar that many flavoured yogurts contain that we want to be careful with.

Unfortunately at the moment there isn't a way for consumers to know exactly how much added sugar there is in a product because the number shown is for total sugar (naturally occuring and added).

Plain, natural yogurts are the best to choose. You can flavour them yourself by adding fruit and seeds for example.
