It’s been quiet around the Disney/Fox deal, and here’s a little update. Because the deal includes several international assets, regulators in the EU have yet to decide on the acquisition. They’ve been given a deadline of October 19th. If needed, a 4-month investigation can be launched. If not, the deal will conclude before 2019, as was expected. I can imagine that IF the EU decides against the deal, it’ll eventually will still come trough in a adjusted version.
Is there anyone against this deal? Speak up or forever hold your silence. Or just tell me later. -Melvin

@dirtees | Certain elements I can agree. Perfect example for me would be the amount of CGI in this film compared to the last films, which I was thinking "Way too much cgi for my taste and needs to be toned down" - 3 months ago

@kain218 I think it’s probably a nice movie for this day and age, but it lacked (to me) the look and feel of all the other Predator movies. I didn’t like it. And I think overall, not a lot of people did. That’s why I think Disney will probably leave it on the shelf for a while. - 3 months ago

@dirtees | I loved the Predator as a movie and I do think it could have been better in many ways, but still overall it was a pretty good movie and I will explain why on my live stream one week from today. - 3 months ago

@kain218 I can imagine that you’re right, especially after The Predator. - 3 months ago

I'm pretty sure that this would mean the end of my beloved Predator franchise because Disney only wants the Marvel properties and that is it. - 3 months ago
